New World – Addresses transmog issues and extends recent features

New World introduces a fresh update that addresses transmog issues and extends recent features. Furthermore, the Rise of the Angry Earth PTR (Public Test Realm) is actively seeking testers to assist in refining open-world PvP elements.

While the game’s development team focuses on fine-tuning the upcoming expansive expansion, the latest update primarily concentrates on resolving various issues.

Transmog, a recent addition to the game, receives particular attention in this update, with two significant bug fixes. One of the issues was preventing item capture until players logged out and then back in.

Additionally, some players encountered a problem where they lost item dyes on their equipment in the event of an error during application. Although this issue may not have been widespread, it was crucial to address it.

Another key aspect of the update involves fixing a substantial problem and extending the Siege of Sulfur event. The patch addresses a bug that hindered progress in the event. Due to the difficulties encountered since the event’s initiation, the development team acknowledges that players have faced challenges in completing or making progress in the event thus far.

“In light of difficulties that have affected completion and enjoyment, we have made the decision to extend the event. We hope that this extension will provide players with a better opportunity to fully experience the encounter and its unique rewards over the next few weeks.” Consequently, the Siege of Sulfur event is extended until October 3rd.

Another feature receiving an extension is the Brimstone Sands Gladiatorial Pit, which will remain accessible in 3v3 Arenas for an additional three weeks.

Both of these extensions lead up to the release of Rise of the Angry Earth. The PTR became available recently, and Amazon is actively seeking assistance in testing Influence Races. These scheduled conflicts revolve around open-world PvP and conquest through PvP missions, capturing new Influence towers, and forts.

Each day, three Influence Races occur, with each lasting 45 minutes. The development team aims to refine the open-world PvP experience on the PTR. Players interested in trying this feature and aiding in its testing can participate by locating the territory where the race is scheduled to begin, enabling PvP flagging, and preparing for battle.
